Starting Over: Rebuilding My Routine from the Inside Out
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the version of myself I used to be.
The woman who kept her home clean and beautifully organized.
The one who took the time to get ready, feel good in her skin, work out, and stay connected to her highest self.
The one who woke up with intention, not just obligation.
But somewhere over the past 3–4 years, that version of me slipped away. Life changed. My energy shifted. And now, for the last two years especially, I’ve found myself standing in the middle of a cluttered house, looking at a to-do list I never wrote, asking: Where do I even begin?
And I know what people say—“Just start somewhere.”
But honestly, that’s never worked for me.
I need a plan. I need clarity. I need to see it mapped out in my head before I can move.
So I sat with myself and asked: What would help me feel the most at peace? What’s the real root of this heaviness?
And the answer was clear: My space.
My home has always been my sanctuary, but right now it doesn’t feel that way. The mess is loud. The clutter is heavy. And I truly believe that if I can get that part in order, the rest—my routine, my self-care, my spiritual alignment—will follow.
So that’s where I’m starting: with my space.
Room by room. Drawer by drawer. One honest effort at a time.
And if you’re in this same boat—feeling stuck, disconnected from yourself, not sure how to get back to “you”—please know you’re not alone. You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You’re processing. You’re rebuilding. You’re human.
If you’ve been through this before, I’d love to hear how you started again.
And if you’re currently going through it, maybe we can start fresh together.
Here’s to reclaiming our peace, our homes, and our power.
One step at a time.
